Girls’ Brigade (GB) is a Christian youth organisation offering a fun programme of activity, challenge and learning for girls. GB caters for girls aged 3-18 from any background or ability. GB is a fun, safe, Christian environment for girls – a place for girls just to be girls!

The aim of the GB is to help girls become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, and through self-control, reverence and a sense of responsibility, to find true enrichment of life.

A wide variety of activities is offered to suit all tastes from sport to modern dance, to challenges in outdoor pursuits and community service. There is always the opportunity to try something new and develop new skills. GB gives girls an opportunity to chat about their concerns with friends and leaders who are really interested.  GB is a safe place for girls to be girls with no pressure on looks, ability, background etc.

Juniors are enthusiastic and imaginative. They follow a programme that includes a variety of activities under the four main headings of Spiritual, Physical, Educational and Service. They enjoy activities including cooking, games, craft, outside trips, the opportunity to take part in competitions and attend our annual GB weekend.

Eager… Competitive… Curious… Imaginative…. That’s the Juniors!

GB is a place for girls to be girls – a place to get away from school, exams, course work, parents, siblings, boys!  Lifelong friends are made at GB and it is a great support network. GB is a safe place to relax, be with friends, try something new, discover new gifts and talents and simply have fun.
