Touch Team

Who are we ?

The Touch Team is the pastoral ministry of our church, and is made up of people who wish to serve the Lord, and show his love, in practical ways.  Our desire is that every member of our church family should feel loved, accepted and cared for.

What do we do ?

  • We arrange outings/ meetings/ afternoon tea for the senior members of our church family on a regular basis.
  • We visit those who are ill, lonely or housebound with gifts of fruit, flowers or baking.
  • We send cards during times of difficulty and times of celebration.
  • We help with D.I.Y./gardening for those who need a helping hand.
  • We provide food for those in times of need/crisis
  • We support those in times of bereavement /loss.
  • We can provide transport for those who need help to attend doctor/medical/dental appointments or with shopping needs.
  • We have a Prayerline for prayer support in times of need.
  • We provide baby Bibles to all babies born into our church family.
